In order to successfully treat a client's addiction, it is essential to treat and understand their underlying pain and trauma first. I have extensive experience working with individuals, couples, and families who are suffering from the effects of drug and alcohol addiction. I completed my MFT traineeship at Beit T'Shuvah, an in-patient rehabilitation center in Los Angeles that incorporates spirituality and promotes human connection within client treatment. I aim to understand the root causes of one's addiction and identify the multiple "good parts" and exceptions within their addiction filled "problem story."

Maybe you are finding it difficult to connect within your peer relationships? Our relationships and connections within our multiple communities greatly effect our daily lives. Whether your goal is to build your relationship or find a healthy way to part, we can work together to find the right steps that are suitable for your needs.
Grief is a natural reaction to loss, but it can be all-encompassing and so overwhelming that we are left paralyzed. Grief is often only associated with the death of a loved one. However, one can experience grief after divorce, the end of an important relationship/friendship, job loss, or loss of identity. I have comprehensive experience running grief group therapy where I incorporate psycho-education surrounding the stages within the grief cycle. It is important to understand that the intense emotions associated with grief after a significant loss will never go away completely, but with time and processing, they will evolve and lessen.
Anxiety, fear, and depression are some of the most common yet uncomfortable emotions we all experience at some point in our lives. I want to understand how anxiety and depression manifest within your body and mind. Then, we can aim to regulate these emotions and find more effective ways to cope.
